Perhaps mingling in and around a 15 X 30 storage unit isn't how you picture making contacts and swapping business cards. At our July after-hours business mixer, that's exactly how outreach marketing went down! Pam Hill, manager at Lockaway Storage, pulled no punches as the hostess! With home-cooked chicken legs, BBQ meatballs, pot stickers, fruit and vegetable platters, and cookies the crowd was well fed! Business cards and brochures were passed around, and personal contact happened everywhere one turned. After Chamber President Brian Morrison introduced Pam and she spoke about Lockaway Storage, one of Lockaway's clients gave a personal testimonial. Talk about great advertising! Three new Chamber Members attended, giving their fantastic sixty-second commercials to a well-received audience. Another one of Lockaway's clients brought a special guest to the mixer – his 1957 Ford Thunderbird! All in all, everyone seemed to have their fill of food, fun, and personal contacts. Thanks to all at Lockaway, their clients, and everyone who came out to make this great night possible!
