Seniors Tickets (Ages 62 and up, Normally $8) are avaliable for $6 at the Castro Valley/ Eden Area Chamber of Commerce Offfice

Carnival Wristbands (offering unlimited rides any one day during the Fair, Normally $27-30) are avaliable for $22 at the Castro Valley/ Eden Area Chamber of Commerce Offfice

Purchasing tickets from your Chamber of Commerce allows us to fundraise and continue serving the areas of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland as well as San Lorenzo! The students of Castro Valley are the future of our country.  As a Chamber, we are proud to recognize the outstanding students in Castro Valley for their achievements at the Annual Student Awards Lunch.  As a chamber member, I am asking you to join in honoring these exceptional students on May 30th at 12:00 p.m. at Willow Park.  Tickets are only $25 to salute the leaders of the next generation.  You do not need to be a table sponsor to honor the students.  Your presence at the lunch will be a strong statement of support for our students.  Tickets as well as sponsorships are available at the Chamber Office: info@castrovalleychamber.com or 510-537-5300. 

The History Awards, the annual gala hosted by the Hayward Area Historical Society (HAHS) to recognize individuals and organizations whose efforts preserve and nurture the vibrant past of the Greater Hayward community, was presented at Stonebrae Country Club on April 26.  The celebration began at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and sweeping sunset views of the bay.  This year, five recipients were selected and were be honored at the event.

Hill’s Veterinary Hospital is celebrating its 26^th Anniversary this May since opening its doors in Castro Valley. Dr. Robert A. Hill started practicing medicine in Castro Valley in 1980, before opening his own practice on Redwood Road in 1987.  In addition to his practice, he has given back to the community through career talks at local elementary and middle schools, Career Night Presenter at Castro Valley High School, supports Vannoy Elementary Cougarthon fund raiser, supports local Fix our Feral Spay/Neuter clinics, and encourages cat and dog adoptions by offering free wellness exams to pets adopted through humane societies, shelters, and rescue groups anywhere in the U.S.
