Website Marketing

The Chamber’s community website includes a complete listing of all our members. Visitors to the site can easily locate a Chamber member’s business. If you are a member and have a website, we will directly link to your website from your business listing. Website marketing is another way to expand the trade area for your business. There are various website marketing opportunities available:

• Member Directory Enhanced Listing – This a business card size ad (2x3) that will include your business logo, company name, address, phone/fax numbers, and website URL link. Also you may include text describing your business products and services.

• Member Directory Rotating Banner Ads

• Major Website Sponsorship

• Page Sponsor Ads by sections or categories

Print Marketing

Promotional Mailing Labels - The Castro Valley / Eden Area Chamber of Commerce can provide your business with mailing labels prepared directly from the Chamber’s mailing list. $75.00 per set.

E-mail Blasts – The Chamber can send an email blast to the entire membership and all Chamber supporters. Provide us with the information and we will do the rest. $100.00 per blast.

Bi-monthly Newsletter – The Chamber creates and distributes a bi-monthly newsletter to its members and supporters. The newsletter contains timely information regarding the Chamber and the community at large. It also provides additional opportunities for members to advertise their business..

• Inserts – An insert is an 81/2” x 11” flyer, created on regular paper stock, which will be inserted into the newsletter by the Chamber. You will be asked to supply at least 500 flyers. Advance reservations are needed, as space is limited. $50.00 per insert.

• Advertising space – Ad sizes range from business card size to half page ads. All requests to run ads must be done in advance and your ad must be submitted camera ready. Costs range from $20.00 to $100.00 per month, per ad.

Chamber Membership Directory – Our full color bi-annual Membership Directory will provide yet another opportunity for our members to promote their business. All members will have one free listing in the directory and additional advertising space is available for purchase. For information regarding advertising rates, please call 510-537-5300.

Network Marketing

Sponsorships – Sponsor a table, booth or event, at any or all of our various Chamber and community functions. This is a highly effective way to have a presence within the organization, as well as the community. Costs range from $100.00 to $10,000.

Annual Business Exchange Night – Promote your business at the Castro Valley / Eden Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Business. Join other business members as they showcase and exhibit their business to the community. This event is promoted to the community at large, as well as to Chamber members, and provides the opportunity to network and develop new business contacts.

Community Event Participation – The Castro Valley / Eden Area Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival attracts over 60,000 visitors from all over the Bay Area. Members are encouraged to participate by volunteering in the coordination of the event or by renting a booth to showcase their business.
