2018 Student Citizen of the Year

Description

The Outstanding Student Citizen of the Year Awards are held annually to celebrate select students from the San Lorenzo and Castro Valley districts that stand out amongst the rest. 
With help from local district staff and faculty, each student is chosen with specific criteria in mind such as (but not limited to):
-Participating in youth organizations (i.e. Scouts, 4-H, Little League, etc)
-Scholastic achievements
- Self-discipline
-Home responsibilities
-Work experience
By way of local business and community sponsors, we honor these students with a luncheon and awards ceremony to thank them for being extraordinary members of their schools.
